aftermath

We had a great turnout for the party. Thanks to all who came. Nate and I estimate the crowd at 70+ in total, despite the rain. The most popular drinks (by amount missing next day) were vodka, O³, and JD (thanks to Seth and his campaign). Rum was the least popular. One person threw up. The cops showed up at 2:30 with a remarkable lack of humor, threatened me with various forms of prosecution, accused me of lying, but ultimately left us alone since we were, after all, obeying the law. More or less. We had some great costumes. Kat, Barney, and I were team matrix. Dianna was gorgeous as a cat. Jason and Heather as Tyler Durden and Marla Singer were a couple of my favorites. James's cheshire cat was perhaps the most impressive. That must have taken ages to make. She was also, I am told, the genius behind Nadja and Jessica's excellent cosmumes. If anyone has pictures from the party, please let me know, or email them to me so I can display some of them.

Finally, we have a couple pieces of jewelry and a jacket that were left at our place. If anyone knows who they belong to speak up. They will be waiting patiently for the owner. Anyway, I've managed to follow up the strep throat with a nasty cold, so I should get some sleep. I hate being sick.
