president bush to retire early!

Speaking to a crowd in Tucson, Arizona last week President Bush announced,

"Baby boomers like me are getting ready to retire, and there's a lot of us. I turn 62 in 2008 -- it's a convenient date for me to retire."

Bush will indeed turn 62 on July 6th, 2008—over six months before his second term finishes. I say we hold him to it. We should all march in and give him a big 62nd birthday greeting with 62 birthday kicks to the rear until his butt is out on Pennsylvania Avenue. In fact, perhaps his prestigious record is worthy of an early retirement.
