housing prices
As Shane points out, The Economist agrees with Terrence about housing prices. Someday I may be in a position to look for a house to buy and I certainly hope I don't have to face the ridiculous prices of today's market.

I totally agree that housing prices in LA are totally insane. I don't however agree that they will have to get more sane. Just my $0.02 - Mike
What's to make housing prices go down? If anything, it seems they would just stay high and not get higher. But they are already enormous, so I feel discouraged.
I say we work on an instant transporter a la Star Trek so that "location" will take on a different meaning. We'll see what that does to the real estate market! I can live in Mexico, work in LA and have dinner in China. Ha!
